===== 3. Pagoda of Nabhamethanidol – Nabhapolbhumisiri =====
- This spot was one of our highlights at Doi Inthanon National Park.
- The Royal Thai Air Force constructed the beautiful stupa to commemorate the 60th birthday anniversary of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej in December 1987.
- 5 years later the Royal Air Force builds the Phra Mahathat Naphapholphumisiri to honor HM Queen Sirikit’s 60th birthday in 1992.
- At the Great Holy Relics Pagoda are beautiful flower gardens which are really worthwhile to visit.

Sirithan WaterfallOne of the many waterfalls in the Doi Inthanon National Park. The fall is about 40 meters high and origins from the Mae Klang River. The waterfall was named by the Queen who came to visit the fall.
=================== 4. Hmong Hilltribe Village ====================
- The Mae Sa Hmong Hill Tribe village is one of the closest Hmong settlements to Chiang Mai.
- The Hmong came to Thailand about 100 years ago from Laos.
- By Hmong standards, this village is fairly small with only about 400 inhabitants.
- Most of Thailand's ethnic Hill Tribes prefer to live at altitude, and the Hmong even more so, and this village is situated high up in the mountains within the boundaries of the Doi Suthep - Pui National Park.
- Access by car is easy as the road, whilst narrow, is well paved.

====================== 5. ChiangMai Town =======================
Tha Phae GateTha Phae Gate is the eastern gateway into the old city of Chiang Mai. The name "tha phae" means "raft landing", and refers to a time when people would arrive in the city of Chiang Mai on raft. In those ancient times, the entire 750 meters of the east side of Chiang Mai was protected by a moat and a wall. Tha Phae Gate was the only entrance, via a bamboo drawbridge, into the city. Today, the drawbridge has been replaced with a causeway. As for the gate itself, what you see today is not as old as you might possibly imagine it to be.
